PostSubject: Evolutions of the new fossil Pokemon revealed   Fri Sep 20, 2013 4:37 pm

In September 2 new fossil Pokemon were revealed, Tyrunt and Amaura. Little is currently known about them

Tyrunt

US Name: Tyrunt
Jp. Name: Chigorasu (チゴラス)

Type: Rock/Dragon
Classification: Royal Heir Pokemon
Height: 2'07"
Weight: 57.3lbs
Ability: Strong Jaw

Entry
It's believed that Tyrunt is over one hundred million years old. The Pokemon is known to be a bit selfish, and will throw a fit when it doesn't like something.

Currently only a few moves of it have been revealed. It is known to be able to learn Dragon Tail and Crunch, as for now
It also wields the ability Strong Jaw which raises the power of biting moves by an unknown rate

On September the 19th it was revealed to have an evolution:

Tyrantrum

Type: Rock/Dragon
Classification: Despot Pokemon
Height: 8'02"
Weight: 595.2lbs
Ability: Strong Jaw

Entry
Tyrantrum's greatest weapon is its gargantuan jaws, which can shred thick metal plates as if they were paper

Apparently Tyrantrum rained as kings 100 million years ago
Currently only a few moves of his have been confirmed, they are as following: Dragon Tail, Crunch, Head Smash

Amaura

US Name: Amaura
Jp. Name: Amarusu (アマルス)

Type: Rock/Ice
Classification: Tundra Pokemon
Height: 4'03"
Weight: 55.6lbs
Ability: Refrigerate

Entry
Like Tyrunt, Amaura is believed to be one hundred million years old.

Currently it's only known move is Aurora Beam

Aurorus

US Name: Aurorus
Jp. Name: Amaruruga (アマルルガ)

Type: Rock/Ice
Classification: Tundra Pokemon
Height: 8'10"
Weight: 496lbs
Ability: Refrigerate

Entry
Aurorus can blast freezing cold air to damage enemies.

It's 2 confirmed moves are Aurora Beam and Freeze Dry.

The new move Freeze Dry is said to be able to freeze opponents as well as being supereffective against water types, despite it being an Ice type move.

What do you guys expect from the new fossil Pokemon?
