Weather~is a formidable force to be reckoned with in VGC doubles. Let's take a look.

Rain is the most common occurrence for a weather team. In Rainy weather water moves do twice the amount of damage while Fire damages is halved. This weather really helps Water types unleash havoc with STAB Surf and other moves.

Some Common Leads:
~Politoad+Kingdra: Kingdra's Swift Swim boosts its speed in rain while Politoad's Drizzle sets up the weather. Politoad spams Surf and Kingdra uses Draco Meteor on threats.

~Politoad+Ludicolo: Ludicolo is a great to have for its regen. abilities in rain plus taking care of pesty Water types.

Other Options: Gastrodon(heals on Surf), Toxicroak, Kabutops

Sandstorm teams benefit greatly from getting extra damage to their opponents through weather damage.

Some Common Leads:

Tyranitar: He is a must for his abilty to kick up a sandstorm quickly. Has a very powerful STAB Earthquake.

Hippowdon: Tanky Pokémon who can dish out large amounts of damage while taking it himself.

Garchomp: Haxy Sand-Veil makes him dodge 25% of attacks while providing Dragon support.

To be continued

Sorry about not completing this in one go Sad Had some things to take care of and I hope to finish this up as soon as I can. Thanks for reading!

This is for doubles VGC

-I send out a whimsicott and umbreon
-Whimsicott stuns them (possibly put up a tail wind) then u-turns back
-Umbreon is there for taunt and because i love him Very Happy
-Skarmory comes from the u-turn to set up spikes, whirlwind out if necessary, spam brave bird, then roost
-I have a Latios with a gem boosted Draco Meteor in case of dragons
-A Gastrodon with choise scarf (because no one would think a Gastrodon would be fast)
-Heatran for grass, bug, and stell types (with a ballon in case of ground types)
